as a child i was never really
that into halloween (though i did have fun), but as an adult, i love it! i always loved dressing up while teaching in the states, and this year at school we were supposed to dress up as historical characters... which is difficult considering the foreign teachers consolidated all of their earthly belongings into a few suitcases. i decided to be a pilgrim (no pics right now) but it was really lame and i kept tripping on my skirt (fitted cream-colored sheet, ripped from my bed that morning) and so i took the costume off sometime after lunch.
and this year there were two adult costume parties...

here was a witch dancing with a boy scout. ok this was lame, too, b/c it was a last minute decision to go. kelly lent me a long matted rasta wig and i put on my black wrap dress. done.

haha ok this was lame too, but people laughed when i told them i was the unibomber. oops, except ted never smirked in his composite sketch. so much to work on.
but others went all out, and they looked good:
